Because the Bible/ The Holy Scriptures are UNIQUELY the purposely Divinely inspired, preserved, and globally distributed words of the Creator God and Universal Sovereign Jehovah. They ARE TRUTH. They are the HIGHEST Authority for spiritual matters that mankind possesses for now. (Doctrines of men, in contrast, are NOT.) They are the Creator's own explanations of Himself, His Son, and His purposes for mankind and this earth; directions for living; standards, commands, principles, warnings against what is evil, and terms of worship that He requires mankind to obey/ comply with, for continued life; words of strength, comfort and hope, for all things to be made well again, through Him - based on what is REAL; and Armageddon survival instructions/ requirements for persons to be allowed by God to be part of His (true) new world system/ His heaven-based Kingdom (which will be extended down upon this earth, as its only Rulership) after Armageddon Day. (Daniel 2:44) Jehovah will not be permitting books of God-hated spiritism (teachings of demons) to survive His Armageddon clean-up Day..........As an explanation for WHY many persons HATE - and fight against - the Bible though, is exactly because it warns against and condemns certain SINS and evil practices that persons DESIRE, MORE than what is righteous and true, MORE than life, God, and other people, more than ANYTHING.

Most who CLAIM to be "Christian" are associated with anti-whole-scriptural, spiritistic LIE-teaching, God-disobedient, and evil practicing FALSE religions of Satan's world empire of them, aka "Babylon the Great". TRUE, SCRIPTURAL CHRISTIANITY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SATAN'S COUNTERFEIT, misleading, apostate, and blasphemous versions of [pseudo-]"Christianity". (Revelation chapters 17 and 18) Like atheism-Satanism, "Babylon the Great" is also doomed by God; and He will be getting rid of all vestiges of this, as warned, soon - so the whole world is being warned to "get out" of such entities (Revelation 18:4,5,8,20-24; chapter 19), and "repent and turn around" (Acts 3:19), and change their ways, immediately. To put it off may well be too late. Oh look, its a prophesied mocker. God is ALWAYS SO RIGHT with His prophesies.

[Sarcasm] Idolatry is such a more pleasant, convenient, and easy-going thing, isn’t it? If only everyone would just deaden their consciences, then the leaders of a pack of dogs could just take over, dominate, and control others more easily. What’s wrong with people, that they don’t want to shut down their minds? Aren’t the temptations for false pride and going along with the lower than the lowest common denominator of society attractive enough? Why aren’t all people giving in to the mind control by Satan that atheists are now wallowing in? (1John 5:19; Romans 1:18-32; Jude 7,10,14-16) It’s fun to play arrogant over nothing, isn’t it?

India has a problem with raping women to where it is no longer safe to travel to. The Devil's on the loose in India just like everywhere else. The false gods of India have proved to be powerless, and their poor examples and deficiencies not enough to adequately better people, offer any true hope, or save anyone. That includes the pagan triune godhead of Catholicism, which has long rooted itself in India. As with the rest of the world, the only true spiritual hope for the individuals of India is to listen to the words of the One True Creator God Jehovah of the Holy Scriptures; to learn His Scriptural truth, with His own scriptural terms of worship )John 17:3) and then follow through on these things.

I am not involved in any of that - and either is God. I am not patriot or nationalistic; and I have true (scriptural) Christian brothers and sisters in India. I also have Indian friends here. Yet I hate hearing about horrible violence and demonic violations Of God-given human rights (including the right to life) - in the U.S. or India. Everyone can see what is going on today, more and more, right? India has awesome cuisine and some very fun dancing........but there are horrible things going on too there, aren't there - particularly to women, and much in rural villages, right? No, I will not be able to get the story of 2 young girls - who were BLAMED, by village elders, for their being raped (which happens fairly frequently there), and so were hanged in the village center - out of my mind. That is UNJUST, inhumane, and demonic. Other human rights abuses occur, especially to women and girls there too. Many become almost hopelessly enslaved, as household servants or other workers, from a young age, right? I don't blame you for the sins of masses of people - that would be ridiculous. But my point is that the anti-scriptural religions of India do NOT make that country a better place - just as the many anti-scriptural FALSE religions of the country I live in, including FALSE (counterfeit) Christianity, do not make this country a better place. (True, scriptural Christian worshipers of Jehovah make any place better though.) I will give you one more example of how important knowing scriptural truth is - as opposed to believing in the devil's lies. You know this happens. Sometimes, in India, widows will light themselves on fire - commit suicide by lighting themselves on fire. They think this will let them join their husbands in the afterlife. But this is more than tragic - because, according to the Creator's words, there is NO afterlife. (Instead, people are dead - "sleeping in death", "conscious of nothing at all" (Ecclesiastes 9:5), until the day Jehovah resurrects them BACK TO LIFE - which will be, for nearly everyone who died before Armageddon, AFTER Armageddon Day. So, in the meantime, people are only dead - missing out on everything good about being alive. The poor women who light themselves on fire to join the husbands suffer unimaginable pain and torment - and its all for nothing. They do it because they believed false religious lies. This is an example of how, in contrast, learning scriptural truths helps and save lives. Another Biblical principle that would save these women would be, "You must not murder" - and that would mean no murdering of self either. The list of needless tragedies and scriptural truth from Jehovah that could have prevented them - if only people had listened to Him/ learned these things goes on and on - and of course the problem is NOT just in India or the U.S., but everywhere. This is one of the big reasons why Jehovah the Creator wants the whole world to learn His life-vital scriptural truth. (Matthew 24:14; 28:19,20)
