The stone carvings you saw gave testimony to what is also referred to in God’s words? Yes such outside testimonies exist, plentifully. The Bible refers to Nineveh, “the city of bloodshed” at length. The stone carvings you saw gave testimony to what is also referred to in God’s words? Yes such outside testimonies exist, plentifully. The Bible refers to Nineveh, “the city of bloodshed” at length. I'll bet you're just a teaser/baiter, but....We know from scriptural information - lineages, births, deaths, lifespans, reignal years of kings, and known pivotal dates for events that the creation of Adam and Eve was 6045 years ago, in 4026 B.C.E. The earth was ALREADY IN EXISTENCE, "in the beginning" (Genesis 1:1), before the start of the first creative "day". Each creative day was not 24-hours long, but was a "day" meaning EPOCH of time - and the Scriptures do not say how long these 6 creative "days" each lasted. They could be millions of years each - no certain amount of time is scripturally affixed to any of them. The earth was prepared for mankind before Jah created them, because He is a smart and orderly God. As another marker, the Great Flood/ Deluge was in 2370 B.C.E. 4389 years ago. Mankind had not only been alive for 1656 years at that time, and had proliferated, but had also brought the world into ruin at that time. Mankind had had interactions with materialized demons; the earth became filled with rebellion against God, violence, etc. - and was declared by God to be ruined. Thus the Flood. The Chinese proverbs could certainly have borrowed from the teachings of God. Yes - the writing down of the Holy Scriptures/ word of God began with Moses, writing under Divine inspiration, in 1513 B.C.E. "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."
(2Timothy 3:16,17) All Scripture of the Bible was written under INTENTIONAL and PURPOSEFUL DIVINE INSPIRATION, by Jehovah's Holy Spirit/ active force. He inspired and oversaw the writing which HE AUTHORED, and had faithful men write down for Him, for the sake of themselves and their fellow hum beings - from the time of their being written, UNTIL NOW.

He decided to be merciful to the descendants of Adam and Eve, who would listen to Him and obey Him, by making a provision for the covering/ payment/ ransoming from the death earned by Adam for his sins, and the death earned by each human since that time, for their own sins. (I think this is what that person was referring to, in their generality.) So Jehovah sent His own, trusted, reliable Son from heaven, to be born as a perfect human being, in the same way that Adam was a perfect human being. The perfect man Adam sinned, and so death came upon him and his children. “The last Adam”, Jesus Christ, was perfect and did NOT sin; and so God swapped the value of his life for that of Adams, thus freeing/Ransoming those who would obey God from being under the Adamic death sentence, and ALSO for paying for their sins with their own lives. In order to have their sins covered by the price God and His Son paid, with the sacrifice of Jesus perfect human life, persons are required to “exercise faith” in it (John 3:36) which includes becoming obedient to Jesus Christ and His Father; repenting and turning around from their ways of being in violation of Gods scriptural commands and principles (Acts 3:19); and turning to learning about (John 17:3) and then worshiping Jehovah the Creator on His own scriptural terms, “with spirit and truth.” (John 4:24)
