The free will God gave humans was a very wise and loving RELATIVE free will. The first 2 humans Adam and Eve were given immense freedom, and everything they needed to enjoy living - but their freedom had natural and rightful limits. Adam and Eve NEEDED TO OBEY GOD, and they were clearly informed by Him that if they DISOBEYED GOD, they would die. There was NO REASON or excuse why Adam and Eve should have ABUSED THEIR FREE WILL TO DIRECTLY REBEL against God and DISOBEY Him. It was completely loving for Jehovah to give relative FREE WILL to sentient human beings!! He could have made programmed robots, but instead, He made free-willed human beings - made in His image - to enjoy a measure of the freedom He Himself enjoys. He has also allowed every human to be UNIQUE. This makes for a MUCH more interesting family of man than robots!! God wanted us to enjoy life! Our brains were built with immense capacity - to ponder, learn, explore, create, etc!! Our brains were originally designed to facilitate our living forever. We can't "fill" our brains up in one "normal" lifespan now! BUT GOD MEANT FOR OUR THOUGHTS TO BE DISCIPLINED TOWARDS RIGHTEOUSNESS - and that is why He built CONSCIENCES into HUMAN BEINGS. God IS good, but He doesn't FORCE humans to love or obey Him. He want humans to be faithful, loving, grateful, and loyal to him, as the heavenly Father, from the whole heart, whole mind, and whole soul - NOT from a computer program! However, God DOES have standards of righteousness and Justice though. If persons stubbornly persist on ABUSING their free will, to VIOLATE the natural limits set for them by the Creator - that people are NOT FREE to disobey the Creator and VIOLATE His Godship and commands - well then Jehovah is NOT obligated to continue to grant them life. It is for the good of all that the Creator DOES maintain standards of holiness; and humans are naturally obligated to try to meet the standards for holiness that God sets for them....People have different "intelligences"/ talents/ strengths, etc. All-in-all, again though, under the right conditions (such as in God's peaceful new world here); this variety of persons will bring benefits to mankind. Also, in God's post-Armageddon world here, human beings will be healed of their imperfections, along with their sinful ways. (Hebrews 5:13,14) In addition, as part of person's consciences, there is as-if a "homing device" built in, that testifies to them that the designed creation they see all around and within them came about from a Creator God; and that they NATURALLY OWE, out of natural, righteous GRATITUDE, to SEEK HIM - to learn the truth about Him, and learn what His will is for them to do, so that they can then DO it. (Romans 1:18-32; Acts 17:22-28) That search for the truth of the Creator INEVITABLY brings persons into contact with the globally-provided written word of God, which DETAILS vital truth about Him and His requirements for humans. (Hebrews 5:13,14) In addition, as part of person's consciences, there is as-if a "homing device" built in, that testifies to them that the designed creation they see all around and within them came about from a Creator God; and that they NATURALLY OWE, out of natural, righteous GRATITUDE, to SEEK HIM - to learn the truth about Him, and learn what His will is for them to do, so that they can then DO it. (Romans 1:18-32; Acts 17:22-28) That search for the truth of the Creator INEVITABLY brings persons into contact with the globally-provided written word of God, which DETAILS vital truth about Him and His requirements for humans.
