[with stupidity] internet gossip) reveals that it was 2 (or 7) of every "KIND" - SPECIES - of animal that was preserved on the Ark. Some have said that only 43-72 kinds/species of [land] mammals, 10 kinds/species of reptiles, and under 200 kinds/ species of birds preserved on the Ark would have been enough to produce all of the varieties we see - and add to that some birds, reptiles, and ocean mammals could have survived outside of the Ark. A relatively small number of kinds/species of mammals are bigger than a sheep, whereas there are many the size of a rat or smaller. The Ark had 3 decks, and its volume was about the size of the Titanic. (A fun note is that the proportional measurements of the Ark - length to width, 6 to 1 - have been used to construct modern naval vessels.)
