So wrong. There's no "inner truth" AND "outer truth" - there's just truth. "Jesus rose from the dead" - audience: "Ha ha ha ha ha!" (Fulfill prophecy some more, insolent ridiculers who assert yourselves to be more wise than God or His given scriptural words.) Godless scientists are neither knowledgeable enough nor qualified to address any spiritual matter. They are also already biased, not honestly open-minded in their process of considering spiritual things. Actually, NO, there ARE NOT "ghosts"; but there ARE wicked spirit beings - demons - who often pose as dead loved ones, or who "assist" persons engaging in God-forbidden spiritism/ demonism - to try to communicate with the dead (which is impossible), to "forsee"/ "divine" the future, or to try to receive uncanny power or "help" from the spirit realm which has NOT been authorized by God. All such "help" from demons comes with a price, as they "hook" those who violate God's laws into their sooner or later deadly traps, and their victims fall more and more into Satan's lairs. For example - tarot card reading/ "advice" seeking might be just an easy-money lark for some, and curious entertainment for others. Sadly, however, when persons ignore their consciences and God's scriptural commands, to never engage in these activities, which God words deem evil and dangerous, bad things happen. Tarot card reading has been "supported" by demons using their limited ability to slightly adjust occurrences, so that it seems like a "predicted" future did indeed "come true" - and so those engaging in this God-forbidden activity should desire to become even more engrossed in it, more misled by demons, through the point of harm. I personally know of someone who "read" tarot cards, and "the cards" (the demons) "told" that person that their younger brother would die in a car crash the next day. I believe that the demons "arranged" for that, and the teenager died the next day, as a passenger in a schoolmate’s car. The girl who experienced this "reading", and then the tragedy coming true became extremely distressed and disturbed. Terrifying nightmares started effecting her during the day. Demons kept harassing her - giving her more dreams that disturbingly "came true"; slanderous and hurtful "psychic"-type information, etc. So disturbing and vicious was all of this, that finally, in the middle of the night, she tried (I believe) to kill herself, by driving her car into a highway bridge embankment. She lived - she almost died, but she lived - with pain, scars, disturbing memories, sorrow, and disabilities, for the rest of her life. She is gone now. AMONG THOSE WHO DABBLE in God-forbidden spiritism (or for whom it is a common part of their culture - such as in Africa, in many "rituals" (or in the counterfeit “Christian” churches of numerous lands, in which children are molested and assaulted - [blasphemously] “in the name of God” ) - all kinds of terrifying and tragic things happen. Demons have invaded and sickened, injured, sexually molested/assaulted, and even killed their victim's bodies - harassing them and mocking at them that they have no hope as concerns God, either (telling them that they are going to die, and that God won't resurrect them either). All around the world, those who have involved themselves in spiritism/demonism have suffered severe mental torment/disturbances; have succumbed to doing the will of demons - by doing evil things, killing/harming others, engaging in a self-destructive lifestyle, and committing SUICIDE. The remedy is to STOP engaging in demonism in all of its forms, ridding one's home, possessions, lives, hearts, and minds of anything that is of God-forbidden demonism - the teachings or other manifestations of demonism - anything God says in His Scriptures that He hates. Jah's words say to take a stand against Satan and the demons - to "OPPOSE THE DEVIL, and HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU." (See James 4:7,8) It is necessary to obey God in these ways, for spiritual protection. It is also a protection then, to call upon Jehovah, God's own holy name, even out loud - not as a talisman, but as a real and honest request/plea to the True Creator God, for HELP. "The name of Jehovah is a strong tower. Into it the righteous runs, and is given protection." (Proverbs 18:10) Jesus also took a stand against Satan, telling him, "Go away, Satan!" (Matthew 4:10) and persons do well to imitate that. What does NOT work is to try to fight demons with more God-forbidden spiritism/demonism, as that would only backfire! So, some things that do NOT help are “exorcisms”, using “protective” amulets and other objects, using “holy water”, burning sweet grass (etc.), putting candles in pumpkins or everygreens above one’s door in winter, etc. (Many holiday traditions are actually superstitious in origin, and involve trying to fight evil spirits by practicing more God-forbidden spiritism.) It is important to draw close to God, come to know Him and His Son - learn God's vital scriptural truth - and proceed to do God's will in one's life then. Then, spiritual protection from God goes into full swing, and a person can then feel safe and secure against wicked spirit beings. Jehovah is infinitely stronger than the wicked spirits at large - and God promises to abyss them soon at Armageddon Day, and then annihilate them completely, at a future time. If persons become scared, besides praying to Jehovah [even] out loud - "in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ", too - It can also reassure a person to read holy Scriptures out loud. And then, for listening to God and obeying His commands - to reject spiritism, to "oppose the Devil", and to put on one's spiritual armor, one does not have to continue to be anxious about this anymore - they can be spiritually safe in Jehovah's care, under the wings of the Most High.
