Money.
Isn't it all about money -
And the grandiose "ingenuity" of men -
To try to patch up the problems they themselves
have largely made?!
The human celebrity's mass-media-ed words to the world -
And also to YOU, Creator and Universal Sovereign,
and to YOU, Jesus Christ, Earth's Highest Reigning King -
are that people who talk about their faith a lot
are "a pain in the arse."
Obviously, Creator God, this confronts
YOUR teachings to mankind,
YOU and YOUR SON'S
SCRIPTURAL COMMANDS TO THE WORLD,
And Your Son's most preciously given human example.
With your inspiration, O Jah, Your Son said
That to preach your lifesaving words of truth
WAS HIS BREAD,
THAT IT WAS WHY HE WAS BORN,
That it freed people, gave them hope,
Benefited their lives, and would give them LIFE,
Everlasting life -
That, "Man must live, not on bread alone, but on every utterance coming forth through Jehovah's mouth." (Matthew 4:4)
Through Your words, O Father,
Suffering people in this darkened, messed-up,
and hostile world
Can come to know YOU, Your Son,
Learn Your will, Your purposes,
Become Your friend,
Become free, and
Be truly, deep-down happy.
That is why You had Your Son TEACH
All who would be Your TRUE worshipers,
All who would be TRUE followers of Your Son,
That they SHOULD URGENTLY PREACH
YOUR WORDS,
BOLDLY,
WITH FREENESS OF SPEECH,
"to the most distant parts of the earth",
Thus SHINING-OUT
YOUR purposed LIGHT, REASSURANCE,
and TRUE HOPE
to any of honest-hearted mankind
who would truly listen to You -
through Your spirit-backed words -
if given the chance.
YOUR WORDS, Your will, Your glory,
And Your might, O God,
Are NOT second-rate to those of any human(s).
SOON, I know, what you said will come true -
MONEY will become so clearly worthless,
to save one's life,
that mankind
will be as if throwing their silver and gold
out into the streets. (Ezekiel 7:19)
The wise man would be listening to You,
The wise human, telling others Your truth.
Your blessing
is what makes people REALLY rich.
